You never sign up or log in. We hold no profile about you.

Your chosen interval, sound levels and end sound are saved in your browser's local storage under keys starting with nf:. They are never sent to us. Clear your browser's site data to remove them.

We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages and timer features are used, for example when a timer starts or finishes, which ambient sound is switched on, or when classroom mode is used. These events carry the page type and timer name, never anything you type.

In the EU, the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, analytics and advertising storage stay off until you choose Accept in the small bar at the bottom of the page (Google Consent Mode). Your choice is kept in this browser. Change your choice

Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (_ga and _ga_*) to tell visits apart. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy. You can block it with a content blocker or Google's opt-out add-on; the timer works the same either way.

Spotify players load only after you open them or press play. From then on, Spotify's privacy policy applies to that player.

If we offer a newsletter and you subscribe, we send your email address to our email provider to deliver it, and nothing else. You can unsubscribe from any email. To keep bots out, the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks your browser when you use the form. It loads only when you start typing in the form, and Cloudflare's privacy policy applies to it.

The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, it processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and stop abuse.

Under the GDPR you can ask what we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Since we hold no accounts, most requests concern analytics or the newsletter. Write to contact@novasouds.se. You can also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).
