What fits in 3 hours
Three hours is the length of a long written exam, a mock test or a big block of project time. Use it when the clock itself is the point:
- Exam practice: a full paper under real conditions, with the timer in fullscreen.
- Deep project time: three hours protected from meetings, split into blocks with breaks.
- Invigilation: a visible countdown for a room of students.
For ordinary work, three hours without breaks is too long for most people. Use this as the frame and run shorter blocks inside it.
Day math: two 3-hour blocks with an hour for lunch make a full 7-hour day.

Yes. Use fullscreen so the time is always visible, and classroom mode for large digits if you are timing a room. Pick a clear end sound, and test the volume before you start.
Plug it in and check your power settings before a long countdown. On supported devices the timer asks the browser to keep the screen on, but a system sleep can still pause the page.
Yes. The browser tab title shows the remaining time while the countdown runs.
